The ultimate touring kayak
ONAK-Y is the ideal boat for the solo sailor. It is not only light and handy (11 kg), but also very stable and easy to build up.
Easy and simple
As with big brother ONAK-X and little brother ONAK Bato, pulley systems are incorporated that allow you to secure the entire structure with tension straps. It takes hardly any physical effort and is done in 10 minutes. The straps stay constantly connected: you don’t even have to figure out which buckle fits where. Everything is simple and clear.
Open & spacious
Think of it as an open kayak, which you drive and steer with a double paddle, with the performance of a kayak and the extra space of an open canoe. So there is room for a child or a dog as well. When folded, it has the same size as the ONAK-X as a box.
Stable & fast
Its sailing characteristics are amazing. ONAK-Y keeps a nice straight line while sailing and achieves optimum efficiency in terms of power and speed. The hull of the ONAK-Y, as with the ONAK Bato, is made of high-quality core-structured panels. These amazingly light polypropylene panels are made up of 3 composite layers firmly fused into a sandwich configuration.
